TTS Reader allows you to have any text read out to you simply by marking it and copying it to the clipboard or by sharing text or a webpage to the app. Main features: ✓ Text to voice spoken out loud. ✓ In the text box, see the text highlighted as it is being spoken, you can choose to start reading anywhere you want with the cursor. ✓ Once enabled, a pop-up player bar that appears when you copy text to the clipboard even when app is closed. ✓ Pause and continue later from where you stopped (beginning of the last sentence spoken). ✓ Choose whatever TTS engine and language you want, and switch between them easily. ✓ Customization: Control the speed & pitch of the voice. Set your preferred volume specifically for the app, choose whatever theme color you want for the app. ✓ Export text to WAV audio files and text files. Best results are obtained with images (since bad camera focus & shaky hands dont play a part), cropping the image will make sure you only get the text you want without any background "Junk".NOTE! You must have a Text to Speech engine installed on your device for the app to work. If you dont have a TTS engine, you can easily find and download one on google play. After the last update this app didn't work with my speech engine anymore. David (the developer) was extremely helpful and helped us sorting out the issue. I wish that all the developer could give support like this. Thank you David This a very easy to use TTS app. Would really recommend especially with the level of support you get should there be any issues
Samsung Galaxy S8+ 1GNORING the TTS engine settings I have specified over in the Android settings. I have set Google TTS to use a male, English (United States) Voice VIll, voice. But this app uses it with a male, English (United Kingdom) voice.👎 I have set Google TTS to use a male, English (United States) Voice VIll, voice. Good news since my last review: The last language you used is selected This app does what is supposed to do. Everything else is fine.
So many different languages, but there is no Bulgarian 😡😡😡😡

the effort of the app developer is highly appriciated. a few suggessions for modification and besst are submitted here under. 1. the unlimited lenghth of text should be converted in to audio. remove the ristriction, 2 the audio should be in the selected voice only. 3. while reading using this app, the talk-back is also reading the matter in its selected voice, see that the talk-back is stopped. 4 include the converted audio sharing option. thanking you.
The OCR function just doesn't work for me. It says "nothing detected" while I scan from the camera.It used to work flawlessly and could recognize the text and could read out the text upon tapping.I would be grateful If you could possibly help me to solve that. Respect and thanks for your time and effort.
